Buying To Become New Trend, Says Capstone Real Estate
May 23, 2012
An article posted online in Builder Magazine includes statistics from a survey conducted by PulteGroup and Russell Research. This survey has shown that renters are now becoming more optimistic about buying their homes in the near future. Capstone feels that this new optimism stems from the improvements in the real estate market.
The article in Builder Magazine states, “the home builder’s survey results showed that 60% of renters who say they want to buy a home in the future have increased their intent to buy compared to a year ago. And 61% of that group said they plan to purchase a home within the next two years.” The article also claims that 44% of renters stated that they still thought purchasing a home was a good investment opportunity. These percentages were the same across the country.
